Cam-Irish - Traditional Irish set dancing in Cambridge, UK
Set dancing is a form of social dancing which has been popular in
Ireland for over 150 years. Sets are danced by four couples in a
square, and usually consist of three to six figures with a short pause
between each.
When?
Dates for 2010:
Feb 3rd and 17th
March 3rd and 17th
April 7th and 21st
May 5th and 19th
1st Wednesday is a taught session, the 3rd Wednesday is an informal
session. Each is 8pm-10pm.

What to wear?
Loose comfortable clothing, and ordinary leather-soled shoes -
trainers are not really suitable for this speed of movement!
