Cam-French - Traditional French music and dancing in Cambridge, UK
"Cam-French" organises occasional French music and dance sessions, and has a mailing list for the announcement and discussion of traditional French music and dancing sessions held in and near Cambridge, UK. We have a "welcome to Cam-French" leaflet which might be of interest.
Welcome to autumn! Our next session is Sunday 3 September 2017 at the pavilion at Girton. We will be dancing and playing from 10am until 2pm. (Note the one-off earlier time, due to hall availability.) Cost will be £4 waged, £2 unwaged for both musicians and dancers.
All instruments are welcome - we will be playing tunes from the usual collection - do send in your requests!
Directions: for your satnav the Girton pavilion postcode is CB3 0FH: if you're coming from Cambridge on Huntingdon Road, take the right turning just before the college and keep going until you can see the church - there is a car park on your right and the pavilion is at the end of it.
Hope to see you there!
