Cam-French - Traditional French music and dancing in Cambridge, UK

"Cam-French" organises occasional French music and dance sessions, and has a mailing list for the announcement and discussion of traditional French music and dancing sessions held in and near Cambridge, UK. We have a "welcome to Cam-French" leaflet which might be of interest.

Welcome to summer! Our next session is Saturday 8 September at the Storey's Field Centre, Eddington. We will be dancing and playing from 2pm until 5pm. Cost will be £4 waged, £2 unwaged for both musicians and dancers.

All instruments are welcome - we will be playing tunes from the usual collection - do send in your requests!

Directions: the Eddington development is new, so your satnav might not recognise the postcode which is CB3 1AA. If you're coming from Cambridge on Madingley Road, turn right onto Eddington Avenue (before the Park and Ride), and after about 400m go straight on. The Storey's Field Centre is on the right, opposite Sainsbury's. There is little parking close by, but the Park and Ride site is capacious and only 10 minutes' walk away. More details on the centre's web site.

Hope to see you there!
